A journal should have room for ordinary days, good days and difficult ones. Unwind Journal’s free plan is not a timed trial: you get five chat turns per local day, free summaries while chats remain and one final free summary afterwards and access to read and edit your journal.

Raw conversations are not saved as journal or profile records. Saved reflections are private to your account. Remembering starts enabled and can store concise details from chat even before you save a reflection; you can review, correct, forget or switch it off in About you.

AI and hosting providers process your messages to deliver replies and may have separate operational retention. This is not a promise that no provider ever processes or retains data. Read the full privacy notice.

Choosing between journals

Rosebud’s official website describes AI journaling, habit-building, emotional support, weekly progress reports and personalized goals, and advertises a free trial. Unwind Journal focuses on short daily chats and a day-per-page journal, with a recurring free daily allowance.

We could not confirm Rosebud’s current prices or ongoing free-plan limits from its public website, so we do not claim it has no free plan, that we are cheaper or that the two services have identical features. Check Rosebud’s official website for its current offer.

Our planned optional offers are A$5 for 50 non-expiring chat credits, A$10 for 120 credits, or Plus at A$8/month or A$60/year. Plus includes unlimited chats and weekly, monthly and yearly recaps. Prices include applicable tax in AUD.

The free journal is available now. Plus and chat credit purchases are coming soon; real payments are not yet accepted.
