Who provides Unwind Journal

Unwind Journal is a BizTools product, ABN 40 692 689 320, operated by Bullock Group Holdings PTY LTD. These terms govern your use of the journaling service and your relationship with its operator. Questions about the service or your account can be sent to hello@biztools.com.au.

Using the service

Unwind Journal is for adults aged 18 and over. You must confirm adult eligibility before using your account. By using Unwind Journal you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

An AI companion, not professional care

Unwind Journal offers journaling, supportive conversation, saved reflections and optional recaps. AI replies may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify outputs before acting on them. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and do not replace qualified professional care. No one monitors your journal for emergencies. Acceptable use

You may use Unwind Journal to reflect on your own experiences, including difficult feelings. You must not use it for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, threats, harassment, hateful content, exploitative content, deceptive deepfakes, malware or infringement of others’ rights. Do not probe, scrape, disrupt or compromise the service, bypass usage limits, jailbreak safeguards, or attempt to access another person’s private information.

We may refuse or filter unsafe outputs, restrict or remove unlawful content, and suspend access for serious or repeated violations. Discussing distress and seeking support are not, by themselves, misuse.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You must have the right to submit it and are responsible for your prompts and your use of outputs. To provide the service, you grant the operator permission to host and process your content only for that purpose, as described in the Privacy Notice. AI outputs may not be unique or eligible for copyright; these terms do not promise exclusive rights in them.

The operator retains ownership of Unwind Journal’s software, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service within your plan. Do not resell the service or copy its protected assets. Rights holders can use the confirmed support contact once published to request a takedown; repeated infringement may result in termination.

Plans, credits and renewal

Free accounts have five chat turns per local day. Saved summary updates, reading and editing your journal, data export and account deletion remain free. Purchased chat credits cover extra turns after your free allowance, do not expire, and are not used while Plus is active. Plus includes unlimited chats and weekly, monthly and yearly recaps, subject to reasonable security and message-size safeguards.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the selected billing frequency unless cancelled. Cancel renewal from Plans & credits or the billing portal; access continues until your paid period ends. Cancelling does not delete your journal or unused credits. Monthly/yearly changes can be scheduled from Plans & credits for the next renewal, without an immediate charge or proration. You can remove a pending change or resume renewal before the paid period ends.

Prices are in Australian dollars; advertised prices include applicable tax. Refer to the pricing page and Refund Policy for billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, never by Unwind Journal. Depending on your location, Stripe may also handle tax calculation, collection and remittance on our behalf, plus transaction-level support such as receipts and refund processing.

Availability and ending access

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where feasible and safe, we will give notice. Export your data regularly; account deletion removes app records after future subscription renewals are cancelled. Payment records held independently by our payment provider may remain as required by law.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. We will notify users of material changes to these terms before they apply where required.
